92nd Anniversary(Barsi) of Baba Sundar Singh ji at Village Raowal
The annual anniversary and religious event of Sant Baba Sunder Singh ji is celebrated from June 10th to June 12th according to the etiquette of Sant Baba Visakha Singh ji, a resident of Sachkhand. Sant Baba Sundar Singh Ji’s anniversary was celebrated at village Raowal this year too with the cooperation of all the villagers and the Sangat.
Introduction
Like every year, the 92nd anniversary of Sant Baba Sunder Singh Ji was celebrated with great fanfare at village Raowal. Gurudawara Dukhnivarn Sahib is located close to Primary and High Schools in the East direction of the village Raowal. This anniversary event was celebrated for three days at Gurudwara Sahib and the devotees made their presence all three days during this event
Arambh (Start) of Shri Akhand Paath Sahib
Akhand Path Sahib Gurdwara started on June 10th at Gurudawara Dukhnivarn Sahib. Gur Ka Langar was served continuously during the entire Akhand Paath and the Sangat hummed and showed their presence. During this event, deep mala was performed at Gurudwara Dukhniwaran Sahib and the whole Guru Ghar was decorated with lights and the Sangat served day and night at the Guru Ghar.
Nagar Kirtan
Nagar Kirtan was organized on June 11. Nagar Kirtan starts from Gurudwara Dukhnivaran Sahib, passes through various stages in the village, and ends at Gurudwara Dukhnivaran Sahib in the evening. During the Nagar Kirtan, Sri Guru Granth Sahib was seated in a beautiful (Palki)palanquin decorated with flowers. During Nagar Kirtan at village Raowal sweet cold water was served at various places to the sangat with the cooperation of all the villagers and Sangat as it was a hot day of the summer.
Diwan and Bhog Shri Akhand Paath Sahib
On June 12th, the air was filled with a sense of devotion and reverence as devotees gathered to participate in the Akhand Path Sahib, a continuous recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib. Their collective humming resonated with spiritual fervour, creating a serene and uplifting atmosphere. On this auspicious occasion, numerous esteemed religious leaders also graced the event with their presence.
